Day 1

Today:  3 meals, 3 snacks, 3 mile walk.

I shopped last night and bought food for I think at least 3 weeks. $265

I am substituting the 1% milk with almond milk because I don't drink milk.

2 hours in and I've already screwed up!  I ate my afternoon snack instead of my morning snack.  I don't think this is a big deal.
The breakfast smoothie is pretty good if you like oatmeal, which you can taste when drinking. It's very filling.  I made the oatmeal in the microwave and it didn't cool so I had a warm smoothie.  I think next time I'll make the oatmeal the night before and leave in the blender in the refrigerator.

I forgot the apple at lunch, so I just ate it now at 5:45 pm.  The diet encourages fruits and vegetables, so I don't think this is a big deal either.  

I've been stuffed all day.  I expect to be hungry on a diet, but not so far.

I'm going for my 3 mile walk and home to make dinner.  

Okay, the turkey meatballs with onions were reallly oniony.  If you don't like onions this meal might be tough.  I used a maui sweet onion.

Day 1 is a success! (except for all my menu mistakes)

  1. YAY bob!!! Drink water too, arent you? At least youre not on a 3 day fruit fast.
