Day 22. The uphill downhill.

Alrighty, I'm past the halfway mark but I think its only going to get more difficult to lose weight.  This morning I was at 185.6 lbs which is probably my lowest weight in 15 years.  I can't see me getting any lighter than 180 seeing all the extra muscle I'm starting to put on.  I think wednesday I'll start the exercises that target the abs that they show on the Men's Health website via videos.  I can see and feel my stomach getting smaller.
Something I've noticed in the last few days is when I'm a little hungry I eat a teaspoon or 2 of peanut butter or a few almonds or a few pieces of fruit/vegetables. I don't feel like I need to stick to the diet and the snacks exactly as I can feel when my body needs more fuel.   Sometimes I skip a snack and sometimes I have 2 small snacks between meals.  Its all about small portions.  The weight really seems to fall off with the increased cardio I've been doing.  I've been doing 3-5 miles of stairs and hills every night.  I definitely sleep well after that.  I had been drinking a double espesso before the hikes but found that green tea gives me more lasting energy.  I also eat a teaspoon or 2 of peanut butter or a teaspoon  before my hikes.  I drink a couple teaspoons of whey mixed with water directly after the workout to feed protein to my body.
I need to figure a way to get pre-made oatmeal or I'll make it the night before I need it. It takes too long to cook and then for the oatmeal to cool down enough to enjoy in the morning smoothie.  Warm smoothies suck!
peas out.
